Prerequisites & Permissions

You need an organization-level API key in Ashby to connect. This key should have read/write permissions for jobs, applications, stages, and notes.
The API key is stored encrypted in Celect, and admins can rotate or revoke it from the settings.

Setup Steps

Generate API Key in Ashby

Log in to Ashby. Navigate to Admin/Developer settings.
Create a dedicated API key scoped to jobs, applications, stages, and notes (or as required by your plan/tenant).

Connect in Celect

In Celect, go to Integrations → Ashby. You will be able to see all integrations, including the one for Ashby.

Paste the API key generated in Ashby. If prompted, select the appropriate workspace.

Click Connect. Celect performs validation and then does an initial sync.
Afterwards, you will see a mapping summary, review and confirm the setup.

Post-Connection Review

Once connected, Celect will import existing jobs and candidates from Ashby so you can operate on a unified view.
Changes made going forward (stage changes, notes, metadata) are automatically synced between systems.
