About the role We are looking for a TikTok focused Social Media Manager to own and grow our presence on TikTok and short form video platforms. You will be responsible for developing our TikTok strategy, creating and editing content, managing our posting calendar, and turning TikTok into a consistent top of funnel channel for brand awareness and inbound leads.
What you will do
- Own Celect’s TikTok strategy end to end: positioning, content pillars, posting cadence, and growth experiments
- Plan, script, shoot, and edit 3 to 5 short form videos per week optimized for TikTok and repurposing to Reels/Shorts
- Stay on top of trends, sounds, and formats and quickly turn them into on brand content for founders, recruiters, and HR leaders
- Collaborate with the founder and product/marketing teams to translate product capabilities into engaging TikTok narratives and series
- Manage TikTok analytics: track views, watch time, engagement, follower growth, and click throughs; report insights and iterate based on data
- Run A/B tests on hooks, thumbnails, captions, and posting times to continuously improve performance
- Engage with comments and DMs, and collaborate with relevant creators for duets, stitches, and collabs
- Maintain and continuously update a content calendar including tests, series, and tentpole moments (product launches, feature drops, etc.)
What we are looking for
- 2 to 4+ years of hands on social media experience with a strong focus on TikTok and short form video
- Proven track record of growing TikTok accounts from early stages (or running high performing brand/personal accounts)
- Strong creative skills: scripting, storytelling, on camera presence and/or directing talent, and video editing for vertical formats
- Deep understanding of TikTok culture, trends, sounds, and what works for B2B or creator/tech audiences
- Confident using TikTok analytics and third party tools to make content decisions
- Comfortable working in a fast moving startup environment with lean processes and lots of autonomy
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience growing a B2B SaaS, HR tech, or founder personal brand on TikTok
- Familiarity with AI tools for content ideation, scripting, and editing
- Experience with basic performance marketing metrics and UTM based tracking
