About the role We are looking for a Senior Next.js Engineer to lead development of our customer-facing web applications and internal tooling. You will own complex product surfaces built on React and Next.js, working closely with the founder and product to design and deliver features that directly impact our recruiter users.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality user interfaces using React and Next.js
• Own end-to-end feature delivery from technical design to production rollout
• Implement SEO friendly, performant, and accessible frontends using modern web standards
• Integrate with backend APIs and third-party services to ship end-to-end experiences
• Collaborate with design and product to translate business requirements into technical specs
• Improve performance, observability, and reliability of our frontends
• Help define frontend architecture, patterns, and best practices across the product
• Participate in code reviews, pairing, and mentoring other engineers

What we are looking for

• Strong professional experience building production applications with React and Next.js
• Deep understanding of TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and component-based architectures
• Experience with SSR/SSG, routing, data fetching, and caching in Next.js (App Router preferred)
• Comfortable working with design systems, CSS-in-JS or utility-first CSS, and responsive layouts
• Familiarity with REST and/or GraphQL APIs and integrating frontend with backend services
• Solid understanding of testing approaches (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Experience working in small, product-focused teams where you ship frequently
• Strong communication skills and ability to work async in a remote environment

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B SaaS or HR / recruiting products
• Familiarity with Node.js, serverless functions, and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Vercel)
• Experience with analytics, experiment frameworks, and instrumentation
