About Empyrean Studio Empyrean Studio builds innovative apps across Wix, iOS, and Android. As an official Wix Legend Partner, we create products that reach over 270M Wix users. You will join our Wix App team to build new apps, bridge gaps in the Wix Apps ecosystem, introduce new features, and integrate third-party services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new Wix apps
• Contribute ideas for new apps and improvements to existing apps
• Understand app requirements, gaps, and user problems to inform product decisions
• Build secure, scalable backends in Node.js using Wix SDKs and APIs
• Design Wix Blocks, Wix CLI, or self-hosted Wix apps as required
• Write clean, well-documented Velo/JavaScript code
• Master Wix APIs and SDK documentation and apply best practices
• Create and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure 24/7 reliability

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript
• Deep knowledge of Velo and the Wix platform end to end
• 2+ years of hands-on Velo experience (or equivalent expertise)
• Certifications preferred: “Velo Certified by Wix” or “Expert Developer by Wix”
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Express.js and React.js
• Experience with databases including MySQL and MongoDB
• Portfolio of Wix projects (websites with substantial Velo usage or dedicated Wix Apps)

Compensation and Work Setup

• ₹40,000–₹60,000 per month (total monthly salary)
• Onsite, Rajkot, India
• Probation: 2 months, full pay
