Celect is building an agentic hiring platform that helps teams understand applicants more deeply, move faster, and keep people in control of important hiring decisions.

About the role

We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer who can own meaningful product surfaces from the database through the interface. You will work across TypeScript, React, our API services, MySQL, Cloudflare, and AWS Bedrock. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning complicated workflows into software that feels simple and dependable.

You will work directly with the founders, contribute to product decisions, and help establish the engineering patterns we use as Celect grows.

What you will do

• Design and ship product features across the frontend, API, and data model.
• Improve the reliability and observability of application-processing workflows.
• Build secure integrations with authentication, billing, email, storage, and AI providers.
• Turn ambiguous product requirements into focused technical plans and shipped software.
• Review architecture and code while helping establish a thoughtful engineering culture.
• Investigate production issues and improve the systems that prevent them from recurring.

What we are looking for

• Strong production experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Practical experience building polished React or Next.js applications.
• Confidence designing APIs and working with relational databases.
• Good judgment around security, privacy, testing, and operational reliability.
• The ability to own work end to end in an early-stage environment.
• Clear written communication and a collaborative approach to technical decisions.

Helpful experience

Experience with Prisma, Cloudflare Workers or Containers, AWS, AI SDK, or model-powered products is useful, but matching every tool is not required. We care most about thoughtful engineering, useful software, and the ability to learn quickly.
