Celect is building an intelligent hiring product for teams working through dense information, high-stakes decisions, and workflows that can quickly become overwhelming.

About the role

We are looking for a founding product designer to make that complexity feel calm, clear, and trustworthy. You will work directly with the founders and engineers across product strategy, interaction design, visual systems, prototypes, research, and shipped UI.

This is not a narrow production-design role. You will help decide what we build, how it behaves, and what a distinctly Celect experience should feel like.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end design of recruiter, candidate, and administrative workflows.
• Turn AI analysis into interfaces that communicate evidence, confidence, and uncertainty clearly.
• Establish a coherent visual language and scalable product design system.
• Prototype quickly, test assumptions with users, and refine based on real behavior.
• Partner closely with engineering through implementation and quality review.
• Improve the accessibility and usability of information-heavy workflows.

What we are looking for

• A portfolio showing strong product thinking as well as visual craft.
• Experience designing substantial B2B, SaaS, or workflow products.
• The ability to simplify complex information without hiding important detail.
• Strong interaction design, prototyping, and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and taking ownership in an early-stage company.
• Care for accessibility, edge cases, and the small details that make software feel dependable.

Helpful experience

Experience designing AI products is valuable, especially interfaces involving evidence, uncertainty, approvals, long-running tasks, or other trust-sensitive decisions.
