Celect is seeking a Community Building Expert to design, grow, and nurture our global community of recruiters, HR leaders, and talent ops professionals. You will own community strategy end-to-end: from platform selection and onboarding, to programming, advocacy, and measurement. The ideal candidate has 5+ years building thriving communities for B2B SaaS or tech startups and can point to programs that increased engagement, retention, and pipeline influence.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a community strategy aligned to brand, product, and revenue goals
  • Stand up and manage channels (e.g., Slack/Discord, Circle, Discourse, LinkedIn Groups)
  • Launch programming: AMAs, office hours, cohort learning, user councils, meetups, webinars
  • Build ambassador program and customer advocacy motions (UGC, case studies, referrals)
  • Create content and editorial calendars; partner with marketing for distribution
  • Establish moderation guidelines; ensure safe, inclusive interactions
  • Instrument KPIs and reporting: membership growth, activation, MAU/WAU, retention, contributor rate, event attendance, NPS, influence on MQLs/PQLs
  • Collaborate with product for beta feedback and community-informed roadmap
  • Partner with sales/CS for onboarding journeys and lifecycle campaigns

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years building and scaling communities for tech/B2B SaaS
  • Proven track record launching programs that move key KPIs with measurable impact
  • Hands-on experience with community platforms, CRM, and analytics tools
  • Exceptional facilitation, copywriting, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfort in startup environments; bias for action and experimentation

  • Event production and field marketing collaboration
  • Global community building across time zones
